Shampooches Pet Spa has been serving the Hackettstown, Long Valley, Allamuchy and Budd Lake areas since 2011. Melanie Rieur, our groomer, began her apprenticeship with Jodi Murphy, Master Pet Stylist, in October 2010. For the following 6 months, under Jodi’s guidance, Melanie learned the skills and techniques needed to groom all breeds of dogs. Whatever breed your dog is, he or she will look and smell great after their session at Shampooches Pet Spa.

There are many benefits to regular grooming including prevention of matting, which can be irritating to your dog as well as hide skin diseases and parasites. Any health issues noticed during your pet’s grooming session will be reported to you at that time. Mobile grooming has additional benefits to you, the pet parent, such as:

• We come to your home or office at the time of your choosing.
• No more dog hair or dirty paws in your car.
• No other pets will be in the van during your pet’s appointment.
• Your pet will receive Melanie’s undivided attention.
• No cages. Melanie works on only one pet at a time.
• Each groom takes 1-1 ½ hours, based on the condition of the dog’s coat. Your pet won’t spend all day at the shop waiting his/ her turn.
• You will have the same groomer each time, so you can be sure your pet is receiving quality care.

Each grooming session includes the following:

• Warm water wash and rinse
• Hand drying- no cage drying
• Brushing, combing as needed
• Nails trimmed
• Pads trimmed
• Sanitary trim
• Ears & eyes cleaned
• Clipping as needed

Prices start at $75/groom. Actual fees will be determined at the time of grooming and depend on the condition of your dog’s coat. All price quotes are estimates only. NJ sales tax of 7% applies to all services. Same day cancellations, or clients who are not home for their scheduled appointment will be billed for ½ their normal fee.
